Next is Varanasi - a city on the banks of river Ganges which is enough to show the mesmerizing ancient and sacred culture of India

All about the classic Explore Indian Heritage and Culture

This 10 day journey covers 5 places of incredible India with the mix of India’s wildlife. We’ll see lot of cultural places along with birds and mammals.

The tour begins in Delhi where you’ll overnight following your arrival. The next morning, we will be travelling to Agra where we’ll spend two nights.

The Mughal City of Agra and one of the world’s most famous and beautiful architectural monuments to love, the Taj Mahal. While in Agra we’ll also visit the palace complex of Fatehpur Sikri, the Mughal capital from 1571 to 1585; the Agra Fort, another residence of the Mughal Emperors, Akbar’s Tomb with its beautiful red sandstone outlined with white marble; and Chini Ka Rauza, another funerary monument, this one famous for its colorful glazed tile work. We will have an opportunity to shop for unique handicrafts and marble.

Our next stop is Orchha which is a town in Niwari district of Madhya Pradesh state, India. Orchha lies on the Betwa river. The main attraction of this place is the Orchha fort. The fort consists of several connected buildings erected at different times, the most noteworthy of which is the Raja Mahal. We will also have lunch at Orchha resort.

Our next stop is Panna which is famous for Panna Tiger Reserve where we’ll be spending 2 nights. It was declared in 1993 as the twenty second Tiger reserve of India and the fifth in Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the best places for Tiger Safari. Among the animals found here are the tiger, leopard, chital, chinkara, nilgai, sambhar and sloth bear. The park is home to more than 200 species of birds including the bar-headed goose, honey buzzard, king vulture, blossom-headed parakeet, changeable hawk-eagle and Indian vulture. We’ll also see Gharial through boat during the Safaris.

Our next stop is Khajuraho which is famous for medieval Hindu and Jain temples, famous for their erotic sculptures. The Khajuraho Group of Monuments has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986 and is considered one of the "seven wonders" of India. The main attraction of this place is The Khajuraho temples feature a variety of artwork, of which 10% is sexual or erotic art outside and inside the temples.

Our last stop is the place Varanasi, also known as Benares or Kashi, is a city on the banks of river Ganges where we will be spending two nights. This place is major religious hub in India. The city is known worldwide for its many ghats, embankments made in steps of stone slabs along the river bank where pilgrims perform ritual ablutions. We will visit at many Ghats and we’ll see Ganga Aarti while boating which gives the perfect view of this place. We will also have an opportunity to shop for Silk as this place is also famous for Silk fabrics.

On our last day, we will fly from the Varanasi to Delhi where guests will connect with their return flights to home.
